Donate to HWS

The Hedgehog Welfare Society is an Oregon Charitable Corporation registered with the Oregon Department of Justice Charitable Organization Section. The HWS is also a tax exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3). The Hedgehog Welfare Society is fully funded by donations. Monies donated to HWS are used to support our mission and are used to:

• Pay for medical treatment for newly rescued hedgehogs
• Support our Rescue Sites and the work that they undertake
• Transportation reimbursement
• Pay for supplies & mailing for our Comfort Care packages (starter packs for newly rescued animals)
• Help to offset the costs of expenses for larger rescue events
• Emergency requests
• Administrative costs (yearly insurance, licensing fees, website maintenance)
