Midwest Rendezvous Hedgehog Show - - April 26, 2008
SHOW LOCATION Hospitality Inn at 4400 S. 27th Street, Milwaukee (Hwy 894 at 27th Street)
SCHEDULE (times may flex, based on number of participants):
10:00 AM – check-in and health checks for hedgies.
11:00 AM – two levels (juvenile and adult) conformation show, judge Floyd Aprill, ribbons will be awarded. Each hedgie will receive one fleece blankie to use on the show table.
12:00-1:30 - lunch and roundtable discussions. Lunch is on your own. We hope you’ll brown bag it from home, or grab something from one of the places in the area, and bring it back to the hotel and participate in roundtable discussions. We will provide unlimited coffee and ice water throughout the day.
1:30-2:30 - hedgie games (each hedgie must have a ball), 3 games will be run, ribbons will be awarded.
REGISTRATION
$5.00 per human.
$5.00 per hedgie for conformation show and $5.00 per hedgie for the hedgie games (all prices will be $6.00 the day of the show, so pre-registration is encouraged).
Children under 12 who are accompanied by their parents will be free.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
For those that might like to stay over a night, we’ve block a few rooms. The rooms are queen sized and include: 2 queen beds, small refrigerator, microwave, iron/board, hairdryers, and high speed data port access. These rooms have a large bathroom and a second sink in the room itself. Price, including taxes, is $68.76 a night. Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is Noon. A nice continental breakfast is included in the price of your room. You can't book this online, but the toll free number is 800-825-8466. Tell them you're registering for the April Hedgehog Show room block.
